Privacy notice
Last updated 28 October 2026
This notice explains what personal information we collect through the Pitchvise website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Pitchvise is a product of Numstack, a South African company. For this website and the early access form, Numstack is the responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA): we decide what information is collected and how it is used.
You can reach us, including our Information Officer, at info@numstack.co.za.
What this notice covers
This notice covers your visit to this website and the information you send us when you request early access. Once your company uses the Pitchvise product, the agreement we sign with your company sets out how the briefs, documents and other information you put into your workspace are handled.
What we collect
When you request early access, we collect what you enter in the form:
- your name, work email address, company and role
- the size of your bid team
- anything you choose to tell us about how your team wins work today
We also record when the request was made, which part of the page it came from, and whether the email address is on a free mail service (such as Gmail). To limit spam, we keep a one-way hashed form of your IP address, which can't be turned back into the address itself.
Like most websites, the services that host this site keep short-lived technical logs of requests (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to run and secure it.
How we use it
We use the information you send us to:
- consider your request and decide whether early access is a fit for your team
- contact you about early access, including a short call and your set-up
- learn from your feedback so we can improve Pitchvise
- protect the form and the site from spam and misuse
We process it because you asked us to consider your request (and consented by sending it), and because we have a legitimate interest in running and securing the site. We don't sell your information, add you to marketing lists, or use it to train AI models.
Information sent outside South Africa
Some of our service providers store or process information on servers outside South Africa. When that happens, we use providers that are bound to protect it to a standard comparable to POPIA, as section 72 of the Act requires.
How we protect it
Information travels to us over an encrypted connection. Access to requests is limited to the Numstack people who review them and run early access. We hash IP addresses instead of storing them, and we limit how often the form can be sent. If we become aware of a breach that affects your information, we'll tell you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.
How long we keep it
If your company doesn't go ahead with early access, we delete your request within twelve months. If it does, we keep your contact details for as long as we work together, and the agreement with your company covers the rest. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may:
- ask whether we hold information about you, and for a copy of it
- ask us to correct or delete it
- object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent
- complain to the Information Regulator
Email info@numstack.co.za and we'll respond promptly. If you're not happy with our answer, you can contact the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
Changes to this notice
We'll update this notice as Pitchvise grows, and change the date at the top when we do. If a change affects how we use information you've already sent us, we'll tell you first.
